The Swimming Pool by Louise Candlish

The Swimming PoolThe Swimming Pool by Louise Candlish

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Interesting read, some twists to it but I could not get away from how very middle class England it all seemed to be. This story centres around a woman who appears to be dissatisfied with her life despite having a job, family and home. Wants to get in with the in crowd no matter what the cost. The in crowd appear to accept her but all is not what it seems.
It started well, kept me fairly interested until I just thought the characters selfish, a twist and the ending. The ending being a little disappointing, but I was not sure where else it could go.
An ok read for holidays but won’t push you.
