I read this at a time in my life where I was suffering from anxiety and stress. I wasn’t sure where I was going, how I was doing and what I wanted from life. All that really bogged me down and I get I was just going round in circles.
Some self help books just add to the pressures of life and at times can still make you feel like you are failing. This book is different. What I liked was the non nonsense guide and the every day language. It showed that the world does not fall apart if you let go of something, that it is ok to not be in control of everything and in fact it is ok to just walk away from something if it is hurting you mentally of physically.
This book also discusses meditation and other ways of helping to combat stress all useful without it being complete mumbo jumbo. I now feel that it is ok to take time out for yourself. I passed this book onto my niece as she started to have anxiety issues and I wanted to help her.
